In this stealth-based level, set in a mysterious town shrouded by a lethal darkness, players must solve the enigma of the darkness and rescue a kidnapped friend from the clutches of the Inquisition. Inspired by the mechanics of *A Plague Tale*, this level combines atmospheric tension with strategic gameplay.
LEVEL DESIGN OVERVIEW
Setting and Atmosphere: The town is enveloped in a foreboding darkness that threatens the lives of its inhabitants. This eerie environment sets the stage for a gripping narrative, where the protagonist must navigate through shadowy streets and ominous alleys to uncover the truth behind the darkness.
Gameplay and Objectives:
- Primary Objective: Solve the riddle of the darkness and rescue the protagonist's kidnapped friend.
- Stealth Mechanics: The protagonist, being weak and only equipped with a gun that shoots non-lethal darts, must rely on stealth and cunning to succeed.
- Dynamic Light and Darkness: Dark fog, lethal to both players and bots, adds an additional layer of challenge. The player can manipulate light sources to control the fog, create safe paths, or eliminate enemies.
- Puzzle Solving: Players must use environmental clues and light manipulation to progress, adding depth to the stealth gameplay.
