The protagonist (Nick) sneaks into an enemy spaceship with the motive of destroying it and escaping. Designed and shipped in a record 7 days, the game climbed to the 36th spot on the itch.io trending list.

What I worked on

  • Designed and shipped the game in a record time of 7 days, reaching #36 on the itch.io trending list.
  • Commanded a team of six through ideation, creation, and launch across multiple genres.
  • Owned UI, level design, and cinematic work; integrated sound and gameplay systems.

Level Design Features

The levels were designed to promote exploration of the environment, adding a huge challenge to the gameplay while ensuring non-linearity. Each level has a unique puzzle to solve in order to make progress.

Design Intentions

  • Player Agency and Player Intentionality — players make conscious choices with specific goals and expectations in mind.
  • Challenging map layout, gating, and structure.
  • Relatively small gameplay set-pieces.
